We are currently the world's only interdisciplinary fat tissue society committed to serve as the keystone to connect scientists, clinicians, associated engineers, and biopharmaceutical firms focused on the field of fat applied technology

    Our Objectives
  • To form alliances with members, professionals of the science, medical and industry areas for productive collaborations around the adipose tissue research in all its possible fields.
  • To create a platform where our members can collaborate actively, discussing, commenting and sharing information which may be directly translated to therapeutic applications.

Our Areas of Interest
IFATS current primary scientific area of interest is the use of adipose tissue as a source of mesenchymal stem cells that have the potential to regenerate and repair different body tissues. New applications and procedures are required for the safe and effective application of these adipose stem cells for reconstruction after trauma, cancer, or birth-related defects.

Our Annual Conference
IFATS 2010 Dallas will be held in Dallas, Texas on October 22-24, 2010. You can register on-line now at www.dallas2010.ifats.org/ and your membership dues will be repaid just in the savings you will realize. Our Member Fees are significantly lower than Non-Member Fees.
